Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in engineering design, energy management, or retro-commissioning.
• Professional Mechanical Engineer (PE) license required.
• Expert technical knowledge and customer orientation.
• Strong verbal/written communication and leadership abilities.
• Detail-oriented with multitasking across projects.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Engineering: provide technical assistance to data collection surveys.
• Leads site surveys to determine facility conditions and scope requirements.
• Develops energy conservation strategies for RCx projects.
• Reviews RFPs to ensure project outcomes are met.
• Collaborates with engineering to meet standards and codes.
• Reviews submittals for conformance to documents.
• Conducts commissioning and peer reviews of designs.
• Advises on technical/resource needs with the engineer of record.
• On-site visits to review progress and quality of installation.
• Troubleshoots equipment and system setup issues.
• Supports implementation teams to meet project outcomes.
• Develops training materials and provides on-site training.
