Job summary

WSP is seeking a Transmission Line Project Manager to join our Power & Energy PM Team in Burnsville, MN, with options for Freeport, Minneapolis, Duluth, Columbus, WI and remote work from MN/WI offices. The role manages high voltage transmission line projects, budgets, schedules, and client relations across the Midwest.

Responsibilities include lead project meetings, risk management, and ensuring quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 10+ years of post-education project management experience.
• 3+ years leading engineering/construction teams on HV/LV transmission projects.
• Experience with PM processes: contract management, EVMS, risk, and schedule management.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM leadership for HV and EHV transmission line projects.
• Develop strategies to engage stakeholders and report progress.
• Lead contract negotiations and client presentations.
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, margins and KPIs.
• Facilitate kickoff meetings and regular client communications.
• Ensure project closeout with lessons learned.
