Job summary

Veracity Ventures Inc. is seeking a seasoned Substation Testing & Commissioning P&C Field Services Technician for nationwide field assignments.

The role emphasizes testing and commissioning of medium- and high-voltage substations, from 15 kV to 500 kV, with significant travel up to 80% and field-based work across multiple sites. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of hands-on HV testing experience, direct relay testing experience with major relay brands, and proficiency with Omicron and

Qualifications

Five to ten years of hands-on medium- or high-voltage testing experience.
Direct protective relay testing experience with SEL, GE, Basler, and/or Beckwith relays.
Experience using Omicron CMC 256/356 and Doble F6150 test sets.
Experience with substation protection and control commissioning at 15–500 kV.
Familiarity with NETA, IEEE, and NFPA standards.
Willingness to travel up to 80% nationwide.
A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to meet the stated physical requirements and pass the required screening checks.

Responsibilities

Perform protection and control field testing and commissioning at substations from 15 to 500 kV.
Test protective relays, verify control circuits, and document commissioning results.
Travel to project sites nationwide and work independently at customer facilities.
Adhere to safety policies and applicable NETA/IEEE/NFPA standards.
