Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Business Development Manager to own the full sales cycle in the DC/Baltimore market with a $1M sales target. The role combines remote work with a Bowie, MD base and a base salary of $85,000–$90,000 plus uncapped commissions.

You will prospect, build relationships with property managers, HOAs, and decision makers, and manage the pipeline using CRM and Microsoft Office. Travel within the territory is required for client meetings.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of related experience, with 3+ years in B2B sales.
• Landscape industry background is a plus, but not required.
• Strong track record in commercial or HOA services sales.
• Self-generating opportunities; comfortable building rapport quickly.
• Intermediate comfort with CRM software and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Willingness to travel within the territory; some evening/weekend flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle in the DC/Baltimore market, from prospecting to close.
• Build relationships with commercial property managers, HOAs, and facility decision makers through cold calling, networking, trade shows, and market research.
• Put together job estimates and bid proposals in partnership with operations.
• Respond to RFPs and walk clients through pitch and negotiation.
• Carry and hit a $1M annual sales target.
• Stay close to clients after ink dries to generate repeat business and referrals.
