Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of Human Services seeks a Human Services Program Representative 1 to guide agencies serving children and families. The role supports the review, evaluation, and improvement of services delivered by qualifying agencies, with on-site surveys, data analysis, and guidance to leaders to raise quality and compliance.

This full-time position offers a 37.5-hour week, standard 8:00–4:00 hours with telework up to three days weekly from a Pennsylvania location.

Qualifications

• Three years of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating a human service program, and a bachelor’s degree; or an equivalent combination.
• Must meet PA residency requirements and be able to perform essential job functions.
• Criminal history clearances will be required under state laws.

Responsibilities

• Agency Evaluation: Assess services provided by assigned agencies to ensure goals, standards, and best practices are met.
• Data Analysis: Review information on child welfare outcomes and agency performance.
• Service Guidance: Provide advice and recommendations to agency leaders to improve quality and efficiency.
• Report Preparation: Develop written summaries of findings, recommendations, and program results for key stakeholders.
• Policy Support: Assist with implementing departmental policies and refining practices for the Office of Children, Youth and Families' programs.
• Stakeholder Communication: Meet with agency directors, county officials, and boards to discuss results and needed improvements.
