Job summary

Rimkus is seeking a Support Specialist, Human Factors to support our operations group in client services. You will manage client-supplied materials and summarize depositions and discovery documents, primarily for law firms and manufacturers.

In this role you will draft professional correspondence, maintain deadlines, protect confidentiality, coordinate with attorneys, and ensure timely communication while supporting a portfolio of over 100 active cases.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or certificate, or equivalent coursework in legal studies or related work experience preferred.
• Minimum five years of paralegal, legal secretary, or legal assistant experience in a law firm, legal department, or legal services firm.
• Experience supporting civil litigation matters strongly preferred.
• Experience working with manufacturers or product liability matters a plus.
• Proficiency with PACER, Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and related legal sites.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Document & Materials Management: receive, organize, log, and maintain client-supplied legal materials and track deadlines.
• Deposition & Discovery Review and Summarization: read, analyze, and prepare concise summaries of depositions and discovery materials.
• Client & Professional Communications: draft professional correspondence and maintain professional image in communications.
• General Legal Support: coordinate meetings, subpoenas, and deadlines; maintain awareness of applicable rules; assist with subpoenas and redactions.
