Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) specialist to enhance performance across group-wide HSE programs.

You will support HSE Managers by applying expert knowledge to deliver solutions and advise on programs that cultivate a high-performance culture focused on HSE. The role offers a remote work model with a preference for candidates located in Houston, TX, and requires work authorization to work in the US.

Qualifications

Strong working knowledge of HSE frameworks, OSHA standards, and compliance requirements.
Experience with HSE pre-screening processes and documentation.
Process-driven with the ability to standardize and scale HSE practices across a large group.
Strategic thinker with a grasp of day-to-day HSE operations and the bigger picture.
Exceptional soft skills - influence, communication, and stakeholder management.
Ability to work in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.

Candidates must already have US work authorization to work for ABB.

Responsibilities

Collecting, analyzing, and reporting HSE performance to stakeholders using KPIs.
Supporting delivery of annual plans and implementation of HSE objectives in assigned areas.
Driving behavioral change to continuously improve HSE performance through core programs.
Facilitating sharing of best practices and applying standardized processes globally to deliver consistent HSE support.
