Job summary

Jobgether is partnering with a lead program to appoint an HSE and Portfolio Performance Lead for the United States. The role blends hands-on HSE expertise with portfolio oversight to ensure safe, compliant infrastructure delivery across data center projects.

You will establish consistent safety standards, drive contractor accountability, and translate performance data into actionable improvements across sites, supporting continuous improvement in environmental compliance and safety performance.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading HSE programs for major construction projects or complex industrial environments.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA construction and general-industry standards, with practical translation into site controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a portfolio-wide HSE framework covering contractor expectations, risk assessments, training, and escalation procedures.
• Interpret OSHA requirements and translate them into practical site-level controls across construction, commissioning and handoff.
• Collaborate with site leaders to assess high-risk activities and elevate unsafe conditions in electrical energization, hazardous energy, lifting and excavation.
• Establish portfolio performance indicators and reporting processes for HSE outcomes and contractor performance.
• Lead cross-site performance reviews and implement improvement plans with clear ownership and milestones.
• Coordinate risk-based site audits, incident investigations, and share lessons learned across the portfolio.
• Coordinate environmental compliance activities including waste management, spill prevention, and stormwater controls.
