Job summary

SECU Credit Union Ltd. seeks an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to act as a strategic partner across departments, aligning people strategies with SECU’s goals and fostering a high-performance culture.

You will support leadership, strengthen workforce engagement, and help implement HR initiatives that enhance the employee experience. This role requires strong communication and business acumen, with compliance focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field required.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification required; SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years’ HR experience; 5+ years with HRIS/ADP is highly desired.
• 3+ years of strategic HR generalist support.
• Strong business acumen and ability to partner with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Act as strategic partner to assigned departments, aligning people strategies with goals.
• Coach leaders on employee relations, performance, and policy interpretation.
• Lead investigations into employee concerns with confidentiality.
• Support talent reviews, succession planning, and development activities.
• Assist with organizational change and communications to minimize disruption.
