R.D. Offutt Company is seeking an HR Business Partner to bolster our people strategy across farm offices. This remote-based role partners with field leaders, driving HR initiatives and providing in-person support where needed, with travel to farm locations throughout the Midwest.

You will facilitate recruiting, performance management, and employee relations while championing a strong culture grounded in our values. The role requires 3+ years HR experience and a relevant bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Human Resources.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Communications, or related field preferred.
• Experience with employee performance management.
• Experience handling employment disputes and separations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Willingness to regularly travel to farm office locations and provide in‑person HR support where needed.
• Valid work authorization in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted partnerships with field leaders to provide expert HR guidance.
• Support recruiting, hiring, and performance management to help teams thrive.
• Advise on sensitive employment matters including conflict resolution and separation processes.
• Collaborate with leaders on career development and succession planning strategies.
• Take ownership of HR projects and ensure compliance through training and support.
