Job summary

PTR Global is assisting a fast-growing telecommunications fiber provider by sourcing an experienced Human Resources Generalist for a 100% remote, short-term contract-to-hire role. You will support employee relations, onboarding, compliance, benefits coordination, performance management, and PEO partnerships from anywhere in the United States.

The ideal candidate has about 5 years of HR Generalist experience, strong communication, HRIS familiarity, and multi-state exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Approximately 5 years of Human Resources Generalist experience.
• Knowledge of employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, leave management, and HR best practices.
• Experience with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office; familiarity with AI tools.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Administer day-to-day human resources operations across the employee lifecycle.
• Serve as a primary contact for policies, benefits, leave administration, and HR programs.
• Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, documentation, and personnel file maintenance.
• Partner with managers on employee relations, performance management, investigations, and workplace issues.
• Support recruiting activities including interviews, coordination, and offer administration.
• Coordinate with the PEO and benefit providers on benefits, payroll, and compliance.
• Communicate professionally with employees, managers, candidates, vendors, and PEO representatives.
• Assist with policy development, handbook updates, and HR process improvements.
• Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Support training, organizational development, and workforce planning.
• Prepare HR reports, metrics, and analyses for management.
