Job summary

The Pennant Group is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to provide day-to-day HR support in a remote environment for Forged Together and affiliated agencies. You will handle employee relations, onboarding, compliance, leaves, performance documentation, payroll support coordination with the Pennant Payroll department, and HR records management to ensure consistent HR practices across the organization.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and 3+ years of HR generalist

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Three or more years of HR generalist or comparable HR experience.
• Experience supporting employee relations, onboarding, compliance, and leave processes.
• Multi-location or healthcare experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
• Experience using Workday or a comparable HRIS preferred.
• HR certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine employee and manager questions regarding policies, practices, and HR processes.
• Support employee relations matters, workplace investigations, coaching, corrective action, and performance documentation under the guidance of the HR Manager.
• Coordinate onboarding, status changes, transfers, and employee separations.
• Assist with leave-of-absence and accommodation processes and maintain related documentation.
• Maintain accurate employee records and support HRIS transactions and audits.
• Support agencies with finalizing payroll and coordination with the Pennant Payroll department.
• Assist with employee engagement and retention initiatives.
• Assist employees with compensation and benefits questions and coordinate with applicable Pennant partners as needed.
