7Seventy seeks a Director of Human Resources to build and lead a scalable People Operations function for a remote U.S. workforce across multiple states and a large international team.

You will own multi-state compliance, payroll, benefits, and performance management, partnering with executives to align compensation, policy, and employee experience with business goals. This is a hands-on leadership role.

• Must have hands-on HR function building experience
• Experience with multi-state compliance and payroll
• Ability to build and operate HR systems from scratch
• Capability to communicate with executives and counsel
• Balance employee experience with business needs in a fast-growing environment

Responsabilités

• Build and manage the HR function with scalable policies and processes
• Own multi-state compliance for remote U.S. workforce
• Oversee onboarding/offboarding, I-9s, payroll enrollment, files and termination paperwork
• Handle employee relations, performance issues, PIPs, warnings and complaints
• Lead termination processes with leadership and outside counsel as needed
• Oversee payroll administration in Rippling for hires, terminations, changes, bonuses
• Evaluate and advance benefits program across health, dental, vision, disability, life, parental leave, retirement
• Partner on compensation, raises, promotions, bonuses, and benchmarking
• Identify HR risks and escalate to employment counsel when needed
