Job summary

UF Health Central Florida is seeking an HR Data Specialist to maintain the integrity of workforce data within the PeopleSoft HCM system. This remote role supports HR operations, reporting, and downstream processes while upholding high standards of accuracy and confidentiality.

The position collaborates with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and leaders across UF Health markets, ensuring standardized data practices and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working with PeopleSoft HCM or similar HRIS.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interactions at all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency with PeopleSoft, Excel, reporting, and ability to learn other HRIS/HCM applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update employee records in the PeopleSoft HCM system to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
• Process HR transactions related to hires, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, terminations, and organizational updates.
• Audit and validate employee data to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Research, troubleshoot, and resolve data discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Support HR reporting, workforce analytics, and downstream processes through accurate data management.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and departmental leaders to ensure accurate employee information.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data and assist with system testing and process improvements.
• Provide documentation and data validation for internal and external audits.
