Job summary

UF Health is seeking an HR Data Specialist to maintain employee data in the PeopleSoft HCM system, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with enterprise HR processes. In this role you will support HR operations, reporting, audits, and data governance, collaborating with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Talent Acquisition to keep data current and auditable.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience with PeopleSoft HCM or similar HRIS.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with leadership.
• Proficiency in PeopleSoft, Excel, and HR reporting; ability to learn other HRIS.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accuracy and timeliness of employee data in PeopleSoft HCM.
• Process HR transactions: hires, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, terminations, and updates.
• Audit and validate data for policy, regulatory, and HR standards.
• Research and resolve data discrepancies promptly.
• Support HR reporting, workforce analytics, and downstream processes.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, TA, and department leaders to ensure accurate employee information.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.
• Assist with system testing and HR system enhancements.
• Support audits with documentation and validation.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and data governance practices.
• Monitor data quality trends and propose improvements.
• Provide excellent customer service to employees and stakeholders.
