Job summary

Sustainable Talent is partnering with NVIDIA to recruit an HR Compliance Specialist for a Santa Clara, CA-based contract role, offering remote work options and competitive pay between $40 and $50 per hour.

The role supports the HR Global Compliance team, driving compliance across U.S. and international programs, handling deemed export control processes, and coordinating with Legal, HR, and external vendors to ensure timely submissions and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of HR or compliance experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working cross-functionally to ensure compliance and resolve issues.
• Knowledge of data privacy and export control regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process deemed export compliance activities, ensuring forms are complete and accurate.
• Back up other HR compliance programs including background checks and global right to work.
• Gather data and support export license requests with internal and external partners.
• Collaborate with Legal, HR, and vendors to interpret government and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain internal guidelines, policies, and communications for compliance.
• Coordinate reporting deadlines and maintain required records.
• Track government contract clearances and maintain accurate compliance records.
• Stay informed on applicable regulations globally.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
