Job summary

SupplyHouse is seeking an Employee Relations Specialist to join our HR team. This remote, exempt role focuses on managing HR compliance programs, policies, and reporting across the organization, with travel to Melville, NY a few times annually for meetings.

The role requires a Bachelor's in HR or related field and 3+ years in HR or Compliance, plus strong communication and integrity. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities within a fast‑growing e‑commerce HVAC company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years in HR Generalist, HRBP, Employee Relations, or Compliance role.
• Experience managing employee relations matters and conducting workplace investigations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and high integrity.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee relations for remote office including corrective action and investigations.
• Advise on compliance with state and federal laws related to Compensation, HR, Payroll and Benefits.
• Ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, PFL, FLI, STD, LTD and other labor laws.
• Maintain HR Compliance processes and SOPs; collaborate with partners to ensure compliance.
• Create SOPs for compliance policies and programs.
• Coordinate with HR, Fulfillment, Customer Service on new hire requirements and background checks.
• Conduct internal audits to identify risk and drive improvements in HR compliance.
• Maintain employee records and company handbook; update policies as needed.
• Monitor labor law updates and EEOC reporting; support data-driven reporting.
