SupplyHouse is seeking a Compliance Specialist to join our Human Resources Team. The role reports to the Senior Manager of Total Rewards & Compliance and focuses on enhancing HR compliance programs, policies, reporting and processes across the organization.

The position is remote with travel to Melville, NY, and offers a full-time exempt role with a daytime schedule. It requires a bachelor's in HR or related field and 3+ years of related experience.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field.
• 3+ years in HR Generalist, HRBP, Employee Relations, or Compliance.
• Experience managing employee relations matters and investigations.
• Strong interpersonal and confidentiality skills.
• Attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint.

Aufgaben

• Manage employee relations activities for the remote office team including corrective action and investigations.
• Advise HR and management on compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, PFL, FLI, STD, LTD, EEO and related laws.
• Maintain HR compliance processes and SOPs across the organization.
• Create SOPs for compliance policies and programs.
• Partner with HR, Fulfillment, Customer Service, and other teams on new hire requirements and compliance.
• Conduct internal audits to identify risks and implement process improvements.
• Maintain employee records retention policies and handbook updates.
• Stay current on state and local employment laws and regulatory developments.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
