Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an HR Compensation Consultant to support compensation programs, job architecture, and pay practices across the organization. You will assist the Compensation Manager in delivering compensation solutions aligned with organizational goals and labor market conditions.

Responsibilities include data analysis, education materials, and collaboration with HR leaders to drive strategic compensation initiatives while maintaining compliance and internal equity.

Qualifications

• Experience in Human Resources, Finance, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills, including identifying needs and opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage sensitive information with discretion.
• Experience in a role requiring effective project management skills, a high degree of accuracy, and sound decision making with limited supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex datasets and recommend solutions.
• Demonstrated experience working cross functionally with leaders and employees in a variety of settings and projects.

Responsibilities

• Gather feedback on proposals, analyze data, and coordinate reviews and input; providing recommendations based on review and analysis of data.
• Provide education and training materials on compensation projects, procedures and policies.
• Partner with Compensation team members and HR leaders to support compensation initiatives, goals and plans.
• Act as a first point of contact for compensation requests, responding to inquiries, gathering information, and assessing needs.
• Respond to and manage challenging and sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion; escalate as needed.
