Intermountain Health in Utah is seeking an HR Compensation Consultant to support compensation programs, job architecture, and pay practices across the organization. They will partner with the Compensation Manager to ensure market alignment and internal equity within regulatory guidelines.

The role emphasizes education, process improvement, and responsive service to HR leaders and stakeholders. This is a full-time, remote-capable position with standard 40-hour weeks.

Qualifications

• Experience in Human Resources, Finance, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills, including identifying needs and opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage sensitive information with discretion.
• Experience in a role requiring effective project management skills, a high degree of accuracy, and sound decision making with limited supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex datasets and recommend solutions.
• Demonstrated experience working cross functionally with leaders and employees in a variety of settings and projects.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and assignments simultaneously in an agile and organized manner quickly adjusting priorities and focus as needs change.

Responsabilités

• Gather feedback on proposals, analyze data, and coordinate reviews and input; providing recommendations based on review and analysis of data.
• Provide education and training materials on compensation projects, procedures and policies.
• Partner with Compensation team and HR leaders to support compensation initiatives, goals and plans.
• Act as a first point of contact for compensation requests, gathering initial information and assessing needs.
• Respond to and manage challenging situations with professionalism and discretion; escalate as needed.
• Manage and triage service ticket requests on compensation topics with timely resolutions.
• Review, evaluate, and approve compensation actions ensuring market alignment and internal equity.
• Support enterprise compensation initiatives through analyses, audits, and reviews.
