Job summary

Pyrotek is seeking an HR Business Partner - Benefits & Leave to manage USA benefits and leave administration and support the Corporate Office. You will ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations and advise leaders on policy changes that align with Pyrotek’s mission and culture.

Key duties include administering medical, dental, vision, life and disability plans, coordinating FMLA, STD and LTD LOAs, analyzing plan costs, and communicating policies to employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field with five years of HR experience, preferably benefits and leave administration.
• Certification(s): SHRM-CP/PHR, SHRM-SCP/SPHR preferred; CBP or similar desired.
• Experience with self-insured medical plans is preferred.
• Strong Excel proficiency and ability to use HRIS/ATS systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage administration of employee benefit and leave programs (medical, dental, vision, life, disability).
• Coordinate FMLA, STD and LTD LOAs and ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws.
• Analyze self-insured medical plan costs and suggest cost-containment/engagement improvements.
• Draft and disseminate policy communications (letters, FAQs, booklets, orientations).
• Advise employees on eligibility and related matters; partner with HR leadership as needed.
