Freeport-McMoRan invites students to join its 2027 Summer Internship in HR Analytics. This virtual/ Phoenix-based program offers hands-on data projects, Power BI dashboards, and collaboration with HR partners across North America.

Ideal candidates are enrolled full-time in related fields or recent grads within 12 months, with strong analytical and communication skills, and an interest in AI/automation in HR analytics.

Responsibilities

• Support workforce analytics projects involving headcount, turnover, recruiting and vacancies, workforce planning, demographics, time and attendance, and other HR measures.
• Analyze workforce data to identify trends and translate findings into clear business insights.
• Assist with development and enhancement of Power BI dashboards, reports, and recurring analytics used by HR and leaders.
• Work with large HR datasets using Excel, Power BI, SQL, and Snowflake to retrieve, validate, and analyze data.
• Assist with data quality and reconciliation across systems, reports, and data sources.
• Document business requirements, data definitions, calculation logic, and source-to-report mappings.
• Participate in exploratory analytics and AI/automation within HR analytics.
• Develop tables, visualizations, and presentations communicating findings to diverse audiences.
• Partner with HR and business teams to translate questions into analytical requirements.
• Perform other duties as required.
