Avalara, Inc. is seeking a senior role to redesign People & Culture processes using AI and automation. You will own end-to-end process architecture, define the operating model, and decide what to automate, augment, or keep human‑led. You’ll partner with engineering to build or oversee AI solutions, aligning with leadership on the roadmap.

You’ll work with cross-functional partners to ensure scalable, evidence-based redesigns that improve efficiency and employee experience across the organization.

Qualificações

• Experience doing architecture work for processes end-to-end.
• Hands-on AI experience, including agentic AI and orchestration.
• Ability to translate decisions into concrete requirements for engineering.
• Proven ability to sequence large initiatives into phases delivering value.
• Strong communication with engineers and business stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Own and design target-state process architecture and operating model.
• Decide automation, augmentation, or human-led paths for each step.
• Translate decisions into build specifications for engineering teams.
• Assess build-vs-buy options and plan phased delivery.
• Partner with engineering to test, deploy, and iterate solutions.
• Set and maintain an AI/automation roadmap aligned with leadership.
