Job summary

Qualifications

4+ years of professional experience in computer systems or related field; degree may be substituted with 7+ total years of experience.
Security clearance: TS (TS/SCI preferred).
Certifications: CompTIA Security+ and Linux+ or equivalents (RHCSA/RHCE/CISSP).
Location: must be near the customer site when required.
Experience: hardware installation and repair for servers/storage/network gear.
On-site/on-call requirements include rotational after-hours and weekend support.

Responsibilities

Report daily and work on-site at the customer location.
Monitor and maintain the health of HPC systems, including compute, network, and storage.
Troubleshoot and repair hardware issues.
Perform daily hardware diagnostics and repairs.
Create, track, and close support cases; manage parts return per policy and SLAs.
Maintain onsite parts inventory and SLAs dashboards.
Uphold 24x7x2/4 on-call coverage; occasional travel for training.
Mentor junior team members in issue and case management.
