Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Platform System/Hardware Engineer in Texas to join Customer Solutions Engineering. The role is designed as Hybrid, requiring you to work from an HPE office on average 2 days per week.

You will design portions of engineering solutions for electrical hardware and related subsystems, supporting project teams and external partners. This position requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, with typically 0–4 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience or understanding of electrical design tools and software packages.
• Good written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.

Responsibilities

• Designs portions of engineering solutions for electrical and electronic parts, subsystems, integrated circuitry, and algorithms based on established engineering principles and in accordance with provided specifications and requirements.
• Implements established test plans for existing designs, including validation of tolerances, form/fit/function, shock and vibration, EMI, safety, reliability, thermal generation, and system power measurements.
• Develops understanding of and relationship with internal and outsourced development partners on electrical hardware design and development.
• Participates as a member of project team of other electrical hardware engineers and partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for low to moderately-complex products.
• Has to be local and must be in the office 5 days a week
