Qualifications
- 5+ years in business development or technical sales for automation providers.
- Track record closing automation or engineering services with oil and gas customers.
- Able to pursue new accounts and nurture existing ones.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and qualify automation opportunities across upstream and midstream markets.
- Build relationships with automation, engineering, operations, and procurement leaders.
- Sell PLC/DCS config, HMI/SCADA design, panel builds, migrations, startup, and long-term support.
- Target producers, gas processing, pipelines, terminals, and EPCs.
- Lead discovery to uncover requirements, budgets, and buying processes.
- Shape scopes, build proposals, and set pricing with estimation teams.
- Drive opportunities from first contact through negotiation and award.
- Maintain CRM records and revenue forecasts; hit bookings and margins.
