Pan Atlantic Foundation is seeking an International Area Representative for a flexible, part-time 1099 role. You will recruit host families, guide them through applications, and provide ongoing support to ensure successful student exchanges.

Remote work is available and travel to local areas may be required. The position emphasizes strong interpersonal skills, community engagement, and a commitment to international education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build trust with families, schools, and students from diverse backgrounds.
• Comfortable conducting in-home visits and interviews.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and manage time.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit prospective host families within the assigned area to support international student exchange programs.
• Build and maintain relationships with local schools to raise awareness of exchange opportunities.
• Promote public awareness of exchange programs through community outreach and engagement activities.
• Guide prospective host families through the online application process on the organization's website.
• Conduct in-home interviews with potential host families and verify references for suitability.
• Facilitate host family orientations prior to student arrival and provide program guidance.
• Perform monthly check-ins with host families and students via calls or in-person visits.
• Document all interactions and progress in the online system.
