Job summary

DaMar Staffing seeks an experienced Hospice Coder to provide accurate ICD-10-CM coding and medical record review for hospice services. The coder will review clinical documentation, assign diagnosis codes, and ensure coding supports compliant reimbursement. Length of assignment is 13 weeks initially, with potential extension.

This 8‑hour daytime shift may be performed remotely in a production-based hospice coding environment. Start date ASAP.

Qualifications

• Proficient in ICD-10-CM coding for hospice care.

Responsibilities

• Review hospice medical records for accurate and complete coding.
• Assign ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes based on supporting documentation.

• Maintain coding accuracy and meet turnaround and quality expectations.
• Utilize client-provided EMR systems and technology to complete assignments.
