DaMar Staffing is seeking a part-time HIM Certified Coder to code inpatient, outpatient, and professional fee encounters remotely, with weekend hours as needed. Responsibilities include accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding; provide interdepartmental coding support and compliant methodologies; and contribute to revenue optimization through auditing and training while maintaining regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates hold CIC or CPC and CCS/CCS-P and AHIMA RHIT/RHIA credentials and have EMR

Qualifications

• CIC or CPC certification from AAPC.
• CCS or CCS-P certification from AHIMA.
• RHIT or RHIA certification from AHIMA.
• Knowledge of regulatory coding guidelines and coding software.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems for coding.

Responsabilités

• Accurately code all records according to ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS.
• Provide interdepartmental coding assistance and develop compliant methodologies.
• Audit and train to support revenue optimization while maintaining compliance.
