Cognizant Consulting is seeking a Consulting Manager – Horizon Business Analyst to translate complex banking needs into clear functional requirements and support core banking transformations on the FIS Horizon Core Banking platform. You will collaborate with banking clients, stakeholders, and delivery teams across initiatives.

The role emphasizes leadership in business analysis, requirements validation, and ensuring quality across deliverables, with remote flexibility for qualified US applicants.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in banking or financial services.
• Hands-on experience with the FIS Horizon Core Banking platform.
• Experience in requirements elicitation, documentation, process analysis, and gap analysis.
• Knowledge of retail and commercial banking processes and core banking operations.
• Excellent client-facing, facilitation, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis for core banking transformation, modernization, and implementation on the FIS Horizon Core Banking platform.
• Facilitate requirements-gathering workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions; translate needs into detailed requirements, user stories, use cases, BRDs, FRDs, and specs.
• Analyze current-state and future-state banking processes; perform gap analyses between client requirements and Horizon capabilities.
• Serve as the functional liaison between client business teams and technical delivery teams; support validation, design reviews, testing, and implementation readiness.
• Apply banking domain knowledge to guide project teams, mentor analysts, and ensure quality across deliverables.
