Job summary

Cognizant Consulting is seeking a Consulting Manager – Horizon Business Analyst to translate banking needs into functional requirements for FIS Horizon Core Banking transformations. You will collaborate with banking clients, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to ensure successful implementations, guided by strong domain knowledge.

With 7+ years in banking BA and a track record of leading requirements, you will drive workshops, validate designs, and support testing and readiness activities

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business analysis for banking or financial services.
• Experience with requirements elicitation, use cases, BRDs, FRDs, and user stories.
• Ability to translate complex needs into detailed functional specifications.
• Strong knowledge of retail and commercial banking processes and core banking operations.
• Excellent client-facing and written communication, with ability to manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead BA activities for core banking transformations and implementations on FIS Horizon.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to capture requirements.
• Analyze as-is processes, define future-state, and perform gap analysis.
• Serve as liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams throughout delivery lifecycle.
• Mentor and guide other Business Analysts to ensure consistent deliverables.
