Job summary

Cognizant Consulting is seeking a Consulting Manager – Horizon Business Analyst to translate banking needs into clear functional requirements for core banking transformations on the FIS Horizon Core Banking platform.

You will lead BA activities, facilitate workshops, analyze current and future processes, and mentor analysts while collaborating with clients and delivery teams. Remote US-based role with flexible work models.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in Business Analysis within banking or financial services.
• Hands-on experience with the FIS Horizon Core Banking platform.
• Strong BA capabilities in elicitation, documentation, process analysis, and requirement definition.
• Deep knowledge of retail and commercial banking processes and core banking operations.
• Excellent client-facing, facilitation, analytical, and communication skills to translate complex needs into clear requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead BA activities for core banking transformation, modernization, enhancement, and implementation on the FIS Horizon platform.
• Facilitate requirements workshops and interviews; translate needs into functional specs, user stories, use cases, BRDs/FRDs.
• Analyze current vs. future banking processes; perform gap analysis against Horizon capabilities.
• Serve as the liaison between client business teams and technical delivery, supporting validation, design reviews, testing, and readiness.
• Leverage banking domain knowledge to guide project teams and mentor Business Analysts.
