Mercury Insurance is seeking a Homeowners Package Underwriting Manager to lead the underwriting team, drive performance, and manage risk selection, pricing and servicing of personal auto policies. The role emphasizes high-quality work, efficiency, and service excellence, with exposure to strategic product development and regulatory compliance.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree (CPCU preferred) and extensive managerial experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• CPCU designation or coursework leading to CPCU designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee underwriting effectiveness and profitability of the branch.
• Ensure compliance with laws and underwriting practices.
• Foster relationships with agents, vendors, and internal peers.
