Job summary

Hologic, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service our molecular diagnostic and cytology equipment across the Denver, Colorado area. The role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and on-site repairs within a predominantly home-based office with extensive travel.

Ideal candidates have 2-5 years of field experience and a BS/BA (AA/AS or military experience also considered). The position requires driving, CRM documentation, and collaboration with engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Must be able to meet customer credentialing requirements.
• Knowledge of chemistry principles and chemical handling techniques.
• Understanding of proper use and operation of electronic testing equipment.
• Knowledge of inventory and procurement systems.
• Ability to interface with internal and/or external customers.
• Solid computer skills.
• Time Management Skills.
• Strong robotics, fluidics and pneumatics experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
• Possess a valid Driver's License and maintain a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair instruments at territory sites.
• Provide 24/7 coverage within 24 hours of notification.
• Schedule preventive maintenance and unscheduled visits.
• Determine inventory levels of repair parts.
• Document repairs in CRM and escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with Product Application Engineers to resolve issues.
• Keep management informed of issues and developments.
• Ensure instrumentation complies with regulatory and quality standards.
