Job summary

NCDIT seeks an HMS Analyst to support Medicaid data exchange initiatives within the NC HIEA. The role emphasizes improving HRSN data capture, CCD/ADT integration, and onboarding early adopters.

You will translate program needs into technical requirements and coordinate across teams to ensure secure, accurate data exchanges. Ideal candidates have extensive Healthcare IT/EHR operations experience, SQL reporting skills, and strong stakeholder communication abilities to support statewide population

Qualifications

• 5 years of Healthcare IT & EHR Operations experience.
• 3 years of SQL & Reporting experience with advanced SQL, relational databases, BI dashboards.
• 3 years of Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering.
• 3 years of Healthcare Data Standards & Compliance knowledge (ICD-10, CPT, LOINC, HIPAA).
• 3 years of Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Translate program and partner needs into clear technical and workflow requirements.
• Support CCD/ADT data integration efforts and onboarding of data connections.
• Coordinate cross-team activities to enhance data quality and interoperability.
• Troubleshoot issues, guide testing and onboarding with internal teams and external stakeholders.
