Job summary

Talent Portus is seeking an HMS Analyst to support Medicaid data exchange initiatives with a focus on healthcare IT, EHR operations, and data interoperability. You will work on requirements gathering, workflow analysis, and CCD/ADT data integration, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure smooth data exchange and quality measures.

The ideal candidate has strong SQL skills, experience with HIPAA compliance, and excellent analytical and communication abilities to drive data quality improvements,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Healthcare IT, EHR operations, and healthcare workflows.
• 3+ years of advanced SQL, relational databases, BI dashboards, and reporting.
• 3+ years of business analysis and requirements gathering.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, LOINC, HIPAA, and healthcare compliance.
• Experience with HIE, CCD/ADT integration, data exchange, and interoperability.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
