Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HIM Administration, Health Administration, Computer Science or Engineering required.
• Master's Information Science (MIS), preferred.
• PMP/PRINCE II certification preferred.
• 10 years experience in a large, multi-hospital health system with HL7 interface, EMR integration, database structures and scripting.
• Strong organizational, analytical and multitasking skills.
• Excellent client-facing and written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage HIM applications and data management across the system.
• Lead HIM Analysts supporting all HIM services, functions, reports and analytics.
• Oversee HIM analytics reporting, applications and access; coordinate with IT for projects.
• Ensure successful transitions for acquisitions and new services; support projects as needed.
• Plan and oversee all project aspects, document issues, follow-up and resolution.
