Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Director High Voltage for remote leadership of HV strategy and project execution. You will guide design, construction and commissioning of HV projects, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 8–10 years in HV/substation design or construction, strong English communication, customer focus, and willingness to travel. You will collaborate with engineering, operations and finance to deliver cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 to 10 years of work experience in HV/substation design or construction.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Able to travel as needed and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's High Voltage strategy in alignment with goals.
• Identify market opportunities for HV deployment, including utility-scale projects.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and finance to develop cost-effective HV solutions.
• Oversee design, construction and commissioning of HV projects with safety and regulatory compliance.
• Manage relationships with vendors and partners to secure resources and expertise.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of HV professionals; promote safety and continuous improvement.
• Represent the company at client meetings, conferences and regulatory proceedings related to HV.
