Job summary

Stride, Inc. is hiring an Ohio Virtual Academy High School Intervention Specialist (9-12) in a remote, full-time capacity. You will tailor the K12 curriculum to individual student needs, develop compliant IEPs, and collaborate with teachers to support literacy, math, and independent living skills.

Required are an Ohio Intervention Specialist license, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Travel up to 20% may be needed as part of the role.

Qualifications

• State of Ohio Intervention Specialist License required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web tools.

Responsibilities

• Modify/adapt K12 curriculum to meet student needs.
• Write and maintain compliant IEPs for identified students.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to reach goals.
• Educate parents on instructional strategies.
• Coordinate and facilitate IEP meetings.
• Proctor testing and support alternative assessments as needed.
• Maintain documentation and ensure data accuracy.
• Communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
