Job summary

Sanofi Genzyme is seeking an Area Business Manager for Hematology/Oncology to drive annual sales in a defined US territory. The ABM will develop and execute territory plans, leverage cross-functional teams, and build strong relationships with hematologists and oncologists.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree from an accredited school; focus in business or life science preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience OR one year previous Sanofi Oncology/Transplant sales experience OR healthcare-related experience.
• Ability to think, plan, and act strategically.
• Driving a company car in daily meetings and appointments is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and utilize a business plan aligned with marketing strategies through territory analysis, cross-functional collaboration and customer insights (updated quarterly).
• Implement business plans through leveraging all appropriate resources, both human and physical, with Hematologists and Oncologists and other appropriate key customers.
• Develop as product, disease state and marketplace expert; communicate and position product information to customers to promote appropriate use of the oncology portfolio within territory.
• Work closely with field partners to ensure strategy pull-through from Key IDNs, Reimbursement, Account, and other Sanofi-Genzyme ABMs and Medical.
• Complete call reporting, business plan updates and expense reports, and operate within Pharma compliance guidelines.
• Attend training sessions and conventions as necessary; maintain fleet safety training and driving record.
