Qualifications

Associate degree in Nursing or related field and clinical record experience.
Working knowledge of EMR/EHR systems and medical record processes.
Experience with HEDIS and quality projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

Retrieve and abstract or over-read medical records for HEDIS data.
Collect records from EMR/EHR systems and document progress.
Communicate with provider offices professionally.
Review records to abstract specified clinical data elements.
Document abstraction findings in designated tools and share strategies.
