Job summary
Cisco Systems is seeking an Industry Solutions Engineer for Healthcare, operating remotely within the US. You will drive business-outcome healthcare plays across providers, payers and life sciences, building repeatable demos, architectures, and POV kits for field use.
You will partner with regional sales and solution architects to translate executive priorities into measurable success criteria, while scaling GTM assets and mentoring engineers on HIPAA-conscious designs.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in solutions engineering or pre-sales in healthcare domains.
- Architectural experience with healthcare IT landscapes.
- Executive presence with CIO/CISO/CTO leadership and healthcare teams.
- Outcome-based selling with buyer-focused storytelling.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% for engagements and events.
- Prior Go-To-Market experience for Healthcare is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead targeted, business-outcome healthcare plays across provider, payer and life sciences.
- Develop repeatable use cases, demos, and POV kits for field enablement.
- Partner with account teams to align Cisco/Splunk capabilities with outcomes.
- Mentor AMER Solutions Engineers on HIPAA-conscious architectures and sales.
- Represent Splunk/Cisco at healthcare industry events and user groups.
