Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative to support the Edmonds Call Center. The role offers an onsite training period of 4 weeks in Edmonds, WA, with option to work remotely thereafter.

Primary duties include handling patient appointments, information, and basic scheduling, while maintaining confidentiality and delivering excellent customer service within our care standards.

Qualifications

• 6 months of office and/or call center, healthcare experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Represent VMMC during initial phone contact by providing patients with appointments, information and other operation support services.
• Provide high level of customer service in line with VMMC’s mission and standards.
• Schedule, cancel and reschedule patient appointments by assessing caller needs while maintaining confidentiality.
• Communicate efficiently with the clinical care team on behalf of the patient.
