Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Quality Engineering Manager – Healthcare to lead end-to-end QA for complex payer programs, directing test strategy, governance, and release readiness across multiple streams and vendors.

You will collaborate with client stakeholders, onshore and offshore teams, and executives to ensure quality, risk management, and timely delivery in a flexible remote U.S. work model.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering experience with a Healthcare Payer focus.
• Experience managing end-to-end testing for large Facets programs including strategy and release governance.
• Strong domain knowledge of Healthcare Payer operations and business processes.
• Experience leading multi-vendor, cross-functional, onsite/offshore delivery teams.
• Stakeholder management, client governance, executive communication and delivery leadership including SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Quality Engineering delivery across healthcare payer programs (functional, integration, regression, UAT).
• Own test strategy, planning, estimation, scope, resource planning, risk and defect management.
• Provide testing governance across large-scale Facets programs and multiple workstreams.
• Lead multi-vendor teams across onsite and offshore locations to ensure delivery.
• Manage client and executive communications, delivery governance, risks, dependencies and service commitments.
