Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking a Healthcare IT Workstream Project Manager to lead a data-migration and warehouse modernization for the Indian Health Service. You will plan, coordinate, and report on the workstream, managing scope, schedule, risks, dependencies, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.

The role requires US citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. Starting salary ranges from $90,000 to $100,000, with full-time benefits and potential for growth.

Qualifications

• Active PMI PMP certification is required with familiarity in waterfall and agile delivery.
• Experience managing a workstream within a large healthcare IT implementation or data‑migration program.
• Experience with patient/clinical data, EHR, data warehouse, data integration or healthcare analytics.
• Proven ability to manage schedules, milestones, RAID logs, dependencies, change control, and exec reporting.
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, vendors, and subcontractors in a multi‑workstream environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned workstream supporting data migration to the Four Directions Warehouse for IHS.
• Develop and maintain the workstream plan, schedule, milestones, risks, and change-control docs.
• Coordinate activities across program leadership and other workstreams.
• Support data‑migration activities including requirements, mapping, validation, testing, and cutover.
• Define priorities with stakeholders and maintain delivery alignment.
• Track readiness and manage cross‑workstream dependencies impacting data availability and quality.
• Establish governance with status reporting, RAID logs, and exec briefings.
• Support user acceptance testing, deployment readiness, and post‑implementation issue resolution.
