Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the Indian Health Service EHR Modernization program.

This fully remote role is US-based and requires collaboration across cyber, implementation, and device engineering streams to deliver secure, reliable health IT services. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree, 5+ years of IT project experience, Oracle HEALTH expertise, and strong MS Office skills; willingness to travel up to 25% and ability to

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5+ years of experience supporting medium-to-large IT projects.
MUST have experience with Oracle HEALTH.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Must have experience developing solutions to a variety of complex device engineering workstream problems
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the year, if needed.

Responsibilities

Contributes to completion of device engineering workstream programs and projects.
Develops solutions to a variety of complex device engineering workstream problems.
Perform complex systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end.
Oversees complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining biomedical and end user devices with customer.
Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to device engineering projects.
Oversees continual maintenance and provides complex solutions for security, backup, and redundancy problems.
Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology, especially biomedical and end user devices and the Oracle Health EHR system.
Works cross-functionally with other program workstreams such as cyber and implementation.
May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals.
May serve as a team or task lead.
