Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking an experienced Integration Engineer to design and support enterprise healthcare interfaces, ensuring secure, scalable connectivity for patients, providers, and payers. You will lead cross-functional teams from planning to production, focusing on reliability and performance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in healthcare IT, hands-on experience with interface engines, and familiarity with HL7/FHIR standards.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare IT, integration, or related technical field.
Hands-on experience with healthcare interface engines and data integration platforms.
Knowledge of CMS-0057 requirements and Da Vinci FHIR implementation guides.
Experience leading complex integration projects from development through production.
Working knowledge of HL7, FHIR, and X12 278 transactions.

Responsibilities

Own and optimize enterprise interfaces that process high volumes of healthcare data.
Lead integration initiatives from planning through testing and deployment while protecting stability.
Identify and resolve complex issues using database navigation and log analysis.
Partner with stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver strong outcomes.
Guide teams on healthcare data exchange and secure system integration.
Create clear technical documentation and guides for long-term success.
Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, Implementation, and Support teams on end-to-end solutions.
