Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking an experienced senior healthcare IT integration lead to own and optimize enterprise interfaces handling high volumes of healthcare data. You will drive planning, development, testing and production deployment while ensuring reliability, security and SOC 2 controls.

You’ll collaborate with engineering, DevOps, implementation and support teams, guide data exchange standards (HL7, FHIR, X12 278), and deliver clear documentation and knowledge transfer for long-term success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare IT or related field.
• Hands-on with healthcare interface engines and data integration platforms.
• Experience leading complex integration projects from dev to production.
• Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, X12 278 and secure data handling.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize enterprise interfaces processing high volumes of healthcare data.
• Lead integration initiatives from planning to production deployment; ensure stability.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues with SQL and logs.
• Partner with stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver practical solutions.
• Document implementations and transfer knowledge for long-term success.
