UnitedHealth Group is seeking a data-driven analyst to support and validate provider network contracting and unit cost management through financial modeling and pricing analysis. The role primarily supports East Region markets and offers telecommuting flexibility.

The successful candidate will work on unit cost management, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations while leveraging strong Excel skills and financial analysis experience. Remote work options are available for EST/CST hours.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Math, Statistics, Finance, Economics or related field
• 4+ years of analytical experience in financial analysis, healthcare pricing, network pricing, healthcare economics or related discipline; presentation experience to stakeholders
• Familiarity with interpreting and reviewing financial modeling results to evaluate the financial impact of contract changes and developing forecasts
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Proven excellent financial impact analysis, risk management, and data manipulation skills
• Proven interpersonal, collaboration, negotiation, and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deliverable deadlines
• Proven ability to research and solve problems independently

Responsabilités

• Support network pricing strategies and tactics with local leaders
• Analyze financial impact of provider contracts (facility, physician, ancillary)
• Analyze payment appendices for contracting approaches
• Communicate results to stakeholder groups
• Summarize information with supporting data for audiences
• Conduct financial and network pricing modeling, analysis and reporting
• Peer review analytical models of others
• Conduct unit cost and contract valuation analysis for negotiations
• Influence pricing strategies and rate development
• Strategize with network management to create contracts
• Review competitive analysis to identify pricing rates
• Perform ad hoc projects and provide customer service mindset
