You’ll support senior writers, develop social content, assist with conceptual development, annotations and references, and help bring creative work across the finish line. This role lays a foundation for understanding how strategy, copy, art, and science come together to create effective healthcare communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, writing, or related field.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Writing samples and/or creative portfolio.
• Curious, organized, and eager to learn.
• Interested in fast-paced working environment.
• Comfortable supporting others and contributing behind the scenes.
• Interested in understanding how creative work functions inside an agency.
• Open to feedback and willing to revise and refine your work.

Responsibilities

• Develop social content for healthcare clients and key audiences— healthcare professionals and patients.
• Gain general medical knowledge in therapeutic areas and understanding of audiences.
• Support internal creative copywriting initiatives.
• Write content that is on-strategy and in language that’s compelling; perform basic proofreading and consider the relationship with art and copy.
• Learn annotation, reference and apply AMA style across projects.
• Support senior writers on assigned projects to develop and refine ideas.
• Learn fundamentals of healthcare marketing and agency dynamics, including copywriter-art director partnerships and FDA standards.
